Regular Events

Some dancing takes place on the same day every year:

Plough Monday:                                                                             This takes place on the first Monday after twelfth night (Epiphany), and  is celebrated by Molly Dancing for any and every body.

May Day:                                                                                        Maldon GreenJackets dance the "sun up" to welcome in the summer, on 1st May from 05:15 (ready for sunrise at about 5:26), at Promenade Park near the kiosks by the lake.

Boxing Day:                                                                                                   Maldon GreenJackets, often accompanied by "Alive & Kicking" dance on Maldon Quay, by the Thames Barges, from about midday for an hour or two (weather dependent).
